Harlem Easter Weekend Gospel Concert – Pastor John David Wright & N.Y. Fellowship Mass Choir

Pastor John David Wright is the third of five sons to bless the union of Gospel legend, Rev. Timothy Wright and Evangelist Betty Wright. At age 16 he began playing the organ with no formal training after a period of solitude and prayer. Since that experience, Pastor Wright has become an accomplished musician, having worked with the late James Moore, Kim Burrell, Betty Nelson, Ricky Dillard, James Hall, Dorothy Norwood, and many others.  His gift has allowed him to travel the world, and play before audiences which included Pope John Paul II in 2000. Pastor Wright has been featured on more than a dozen gospel albums as both musician and producer; continuing his father’s legacy, he stepped into the role of recording artist, and with his four brothers formed The DW Project in 2004. Pastor Wright served as the primary songwriter for the group, and his songwriting style mixes Praise & Worship with Traditional Gospel, inspiring, encouraging, and stirring up worship everywhere the group has ministered.
